A Little Too Close was the second book in the Madigan Mountain series written by Sarina Bowen, Rebecca Yarros, and Devney Perry. They are interconnected stand-alones but I would recommend reading them in order. It was sweet, swoony, and had all the feels!!
Callie ended up in Colorado nine years ago. She was heartbroken, pregnant, and broke. Luckily, Weston gave her a job even though he probably shouldn’t have. She had been extremely grateful even though she never saw him again, until now.
Weston had left for the army and never looked back. He was just about to get everything he had worked for when his older brother asked him to return home. He thought he would be able to help get everything set up and get back out. Except, spending time with Callie started to change the way he looked at the world, would he be able to walk away again?
Their chemistry was off the charts!! It was fun watching the two of them try to deny what everyone else could clearly see. They needed to each find their own way in order for it to last. And Sutton!!! I loved her so much! Her relationship with Weston was amazing! I hope we get to see more of them!!
